Reviews and Feedback......
I am absoutly obsessed with making fabric flowers, I get a lot of satisfaction from creating flowers that can be enjoyed and admired.
Because I care so much about my work and the joy it brings my customers I put a huge amount of work in to every part of the process, from the structuring of each flower right down to the finishing touches.
This is the same for the personalised labels and the postage and packaging. I always strive to have my orders sent pomptly and as protected as possible so they reach their destination quickly and safely.
I promise to put 100% in to each and every flower I create.
Custom Orders......
The most enjoyable part of my work is the custom orders I am commissioned to create.
Sometimes I am asked to create a floral arrangements using certain coulours so that they match colour schemes in the room they will be displayed in. I am also asked to create flowers using the favourite colours of the gift recipient.
Other commisions I received are for:
-
- In memory flowers is the term I use to describe flowers that I have created for rememberence of a person. They are made from clothing or keepsake material belonging to a person who has passed away.
-
- Treasured Memory Flowers are when I create flowers from clothing and Keepsake materials that a person has grown to big for. For example clothing that a child has grown out of but are too sentimentally valuable to part with.
-
- Bespoke Weddings is the term I use to describe Wedding Flowers that I create using themes that are important to the couple being married. Weddings are a celebration of love so celebrate using themes you love.
-
- In Memory Weddings is the term I use to describe flowers that combine both the elements of In Memory Flowers and Bespoke Weddings: For example a bouquet created using keepsake material of a loved one that has passed away.
-
- Nursery Decor Flowers are made to match the themes and colour schemes of the nursery they are displayed in, they are often made using Unicorn, Rainbow, Panda or Giraffe themes.

I promise to put 100% in to each and every flower I create.
When decorating a nursery several items come to mind, light colours, cute soft furnishings, bunting and baby mobiles are juat a few....
I am pretty sure that nursery flowers arent an obvious thought (they wernt at first for me anyway) however if the flowers are made from fabric then why cant they be an asthetically pleasing addition to the perfect nursery.
Fabric flowers do not need changing as they are not living so can not die or wilt. They also dont need watering or direct sunight like house plants do. Theres also no concern regarding pollen and they are non toxic.
The best part about using fabric flowers for nursery decor is that the same colours or patterns can be used to keep the your theme or style consistant.
Custom Order Ethos...
When creating custom orders I will always strive to go the extra mile and create trully beautiful work that I am proud of ans that the customer is delighted by.
When using keepsake material I will be extremely careful with the fabric as I know they hold sentimental value. This is why I will only accept keepsake material via recorder delivery and will send the finished arrangement back using the same postage method. This is because I would not want sentimental garments/fabric to be lost on the way to me as they can not be replaced.
I will go above and beyond to make sure that the finished work is completed in the timescale agreed upon before the payment has been recieved and the work has begun.
I will always send the customer pictures of the final flowers before posting them to make sure the customer is completely happy with them. I can also provide work in progress pictures if the custom order requireres them.
I will always under-promise and over-deliver to make sure the customer is extremely pleased with the finished result.

The Yorkshire Rose...
The white rose is the symbol of the House of York and has since been adopted as a symbol of Yorkshire. This was the first time I had ever created a flower that was an emblem of a place.
The factors that made this fabric flower a Yorkshire Rose rather than a standard rose are the iconic rounded petals and the 5 outer petals rather than 6 or 7 which is the number of outer petals I usually use. Also the rose had to be white for it to be recognised as a Yorkshire Rose.
To the left is an example of the symbolic Yorkshire Rose I had the challenge of creating. As you can see thir are 5 outer petals which are rounded and the Rose is white.
The customer decided that she wanted to use cream fabric with a beautiful white lace netting layered on top to add lots of lovely detail and texture to the finished flower.
To the left is a picture of the beautiful layered fabrics that the customer requested the rose to be made in.

Knowing that it made someone so happy was extremely rewarding and I thoroughly enjoyed each and every step.
The Mother of the Bride and Mother In Law Flowers...
During May 2017 I was contacted by a bride to be who was looking to have 2 seperate bunches of fabric flowers made in time for her wedding.
She had seen a bunch of flowers that I had previously made and wanted to have both arrangements made in the same style but with a diffrent colour scheme.
She informed me that the flowers were to be give to her Mother and her soon to be Mother in law after the wedding Ceromony as a thankyou for all the help and support they gave during the wedding preperations. I was very happy to have been asked to make such important gifts.
Below is a picture of the flowers she referenced that she had seen and loved and wanted me to recreate using diffrent fabrics.
The Mother of the Bride and Mother In Law Custom Order Review...
I was so pleased that the customer was so happy with the flowers. Also that the Mother of the Bride and Mother in Law loved them. I thought this review was very touching, its always nice when my work is appreciated and reviews that express that always make my day.
Above is a collage of all the 3 fabrics the customer wanted used to create the flowers for her Mothers flower arrangement. The colour scheme was pinks and purples and she wanted these floral patterns throughout all the flowers.

The Birthday Shabby Chic and Gold Roses ...
In December 2017 I was contacted by a woman who had previously been given a bunch of flowers I had made by her son. The flowers were displayed in her house and she said that her Mother always commented on how wonderful they were so she wanted a custom order made as a present for her mothers upcoming birthday.
The Birthday Shabby Chic and Gold Roses Review...
I was also thrilled that the customer was so happy with the flowers and that her Mother loved them.
I really loved what the customer put at the bottom of the review...
"An origional idea that really works".
The customer looked through several pictures of my work and decided that she wanted flowers created in a mixture of 2 previous arrangements. Above and to the left are the images she referenced. The flowers pictured above were a small light coloured shabby chic arrangement which she wanted recreated with gold roses added in to the arrangement. The origional arrangement had short stems as they were created for a smaller vase so the shabby chic flowers above were recreated with longer stems. I then added three gold and lace layered roses in to the arrangement to complete the customers request.
To the left is a picture of the finished flowers, I was very pleased with how well the diffrent types of flowers blended together. At first I found it hard to imagine the light colours against the bold gold roses however once they were created and displayed together I loved the outcome.
The best part of custom orders for me is that it pushes me to create something I wouldnt have made otherwise, I dont think I would have combined these colours together unless I was asked to so I got to try something diffrent and I was plesently surprised by the finished result.

Mums The Word...
I do not post pictures of custom orders that I am working on because I believe the customer should be the first to see their order and also because I do not wish to spoil any surprises incase the flowers are intended to be a gift.
This goes for all my custom orders. I will contact the customer to ask for permission before using any of the images from the orders.
